For more than 30 years, I've been working for a more promising future as a speaker, author, media activist, and much more. My books include The Living Universe, Promise Ahead, Voluntary Simplicity, and Awakening Earth. In the 1970s I worked as a senior staff member of the Presidential Commission on the American Future and then as a senior social scientist with the think-tank SRI International where I coauthored numerous studies of the future. In 2006, I received the international “Goi Peace Award” in recognition of my contribution to a global “vision, consciousness, and lifestyle” that fosters a “more sustainable and spiritual culture.” My personal website is: www.awakeningearth.org
